I've been wanting some way for my mom to be able to get my attention if she needs my help or if it's dinner time or if the dogs need to go outside because she is handicapped and prior to this doorbell she would have to text my phone or yell for me which isn't ideal seeing as my room is the furthest away from the rest of the house. If she's downstairs and I'm up in my room theres no way I would hear her yell for me and sometimes I put my phone on silent when I'm sleeping so I wouldn't hear the text message notification. 

With this doorbell though I can put the button on my fridge in the kitchen with the 3m tape it came with and I put the receiver in my room. So now she just has to press the button and I know she needs me. There are 4 loudness settings just push the speaker icon once each time to change the volume setting. 

There are 52 different tones to choose from I just stick with the default as I think the chime is very nice and gets my attention. The remote lights up blue when you press the button so you know it's working. The receiver also has a blue light that lights up when it chimes.
